Description

This stunning simple modernist design is one of my favorites. Very modern and yet very vintage. Designed by Sigvard Bernadotte for Georg Jensen. The piece is signed on the bottom with all the appropriate marks. The condition is near perfect! Would make a great candy or flower dish, just the thing to set off a perfect table. There is no question that Georg Jensen silver is one of the best known names for classic vintage sterling flatware, jewelry and watches. The hollowware is some of the most sought after and important pieces manufactured during this very high period of design. Sigvard Bernadotte Sigvard Oscar Fredrik Bernadotte, Count of Wisborg was a Swedish industrial designer. He was the second son of King Gustaf VI Adolf of Sweden and his first wife, Princess Margaret of Connaught. Born 1907-2002 Measurements: 2.5" T x 6.5" W x 6.5" W
