Description

Kem Weber (1889-1963) designed this chair and settee davenport for Lloyd Manufacturing Company, Menominee, Michigan in 1938, the only year they were produced. The frames are of chrome plated 1” tubular steel with a veneered bottom board and black enameled armrests. The removable marshall spring-filled seat and back cushions are finished in black vinyl with white trim. Known in the company literature as the CD-21-D Chair and the SD-21-D Settee Davenport, both have been reupholstered in new vinyl and the chrome shined. The chair is 27” wide, 36” deep and 32” high, the settee davenport is 65” wide, 36”deep and 32” high.
