Raymond Bigot (1872 - 1953), French, along with Paul Jove, Jacques Nam and Henri Deleurmoz revitalized the French "Animalier" tradition. This watercolor of a Regal eagle is in its original macassar ebony frame which can be hung from a wall or placed on a piece of furniture. The watercolor measures 10" x 8" and the frame measures 18 1/4" x 16".
