This French art deco secretary is from the 1930’s and is of fine Macassar ebony veneers with sycamore trim and interiors. The fittings are bright nickel plated copper. The center area has an open display shelf at the top. When the front pulls down it reveals a writing shelf, two drawers and various pigeon holes for supplies or correspondence, all in blond sycamore. The lower two doors open to reveal two shelves also in sycamore. Flanking the center section are two doors which also have two sycamore shelves. The whole is flanked by three open shelves for books or display. A beautiful and useful piece of furniture. Measures 61” wide x 17” deep and is 55” high
