This bronze tribal warrior figure with raffia skirt was made ca. 1930 by the Hagenauer Werkstatte in Vienna. The figure brandishes a spear and carries a shield while standing on one leg. The 5 ¼” high warrior is marked on the base “Hagenauer Wein”, “Hand Made” and “Made in Austria”, the Hagenaur cypher “WHW” in a circle (Hagenauer Werkstatte Wein) in also struck on base.
