Description

This early and rare American art deco clock was designed ca 1935 by Karl Emmanuel Martin (KEM) Weber for Lawson Time Inc., Los Angeles, California. The copper clock, which rests on a ebonized wood base, has a dome shaped body with three "speed" rings on either side and three speed lines on the base. The clock is stamped on the back "Lawson Time Inc., Los Angeles, Calif" and "Model No 208". A placque on the front indicates it was presented on December 17, 1935. The clock is in excellent condition but currently not working. At some time the cord has been replaced. The clock is 11" wide, 4" deep and 4 ½" tall.
