Description

This dessert set of a serving bowl and six individual bowls were designed in 1968 by Finish master Tapio Wirkkala (1915-1985) for Iitala and are from his Ultimo Thule line. Inspired by melting ice, the hot glass is blown into wooden molds that give the glass a variety of patterns as the glass burns the wood. The serving bowl is 6 1/2" in diameter and 4 1/4" high. The six individual bowls are each 4 1/2" in diameter and 1 3/4" high.
