This is an Art Deco apple juice bakelite pendant necklace. The bakelite pendant is reverse carved on the back and inset with large sparkling baguette rhinestones set in a single central column. On either side is a row of small round rhinestones. The chain is celluloid and is made up of large round links. It is difficult to find these with the celluloid chain still intact with no breakage or losses. The pendant is finely carved to rear, and deeply carved at each side front, creating an interesting visual effect. The necklace is in great vintage condition with minimal wear and all the rhinestones are intact. The chain measures 16 inches with the length of the pendant included. This piece is so amazing because it will work so well with modern ensembles just as well as it works with vintage.
