Beautifully refinished pair of vintage Heywood Wakefield end tables. One of the finest and most collectible mid century modern furniture makers. Whimsical period design coupled with expert, solid wood construction set Heywood apart from the crowd. These tables have been refinished, restoring them to their originally glory. Two tier design adds visual dynamism. These tables are not an exact match. Look closely to notice that one leg has square edge legs side profile, while the other has contoured edges. The dimensions are slightly different as well. These differences are hardly noticeable. Newly refinished. One leg has been professionally repaired at the joint (see photos).
