This exceptional piece was designed and made by a young artist. Her art is functional .The concept is built around a genuine antique part. In the case of this hand made side table -box, called, The Traveller ,the antique part is an inlaid wood with genuine ivory and mother of pearl ,all cut and glued by hand.What makes its real value ,is this hand carved authentic antique part with floral abstract motive decorations.This antique part dates back to the 18th century in Jordanie .Around this piece the artist built a wooden box, with an inside storage ,which can be closed with a silver painted wooden top.This silver painted top can be returned and used as a pouf or an ottoman , as its completed with a light mauve colored velour cushion. The box is held by a grey painted metal base.
