Barna Basilides

Barna Basilides was a Hungarian artist.   He began his career in 1920 at the Hungarian Royal School of Arts, studying graphic design and from 1921 - 1925 he studied at the HUngarian Academy of Fine Arts then continued under the tutelage of Rudnay Bosznay and Stephen Julius.  He designed the tapestries for the League of Nations Palace in Geneva.  Mainly known as a landscape painter, he worked for ARTEX after WW II.
