Description

This French art deco dinanderie vase was designed ca. 1925 for Orfeverie Christofle, Paris by Luc Lanel (1893 - 1965). The vase, with it’s geometric floral designs, flaring rim and straight foot is in silver plated brass with green to brown oxidized patina and has a silver plated interior. It is stamped on the base "Christofle", "B013" and "E". The vase is pictured on page 153 of "La Dinanderie Francaise" by Dominique Forest and an example is the musée Bouilhet – Chistofle St. Denis France. The vase is 7" high, 5" diameter (at the rim) and 3 ½ " in diameter (at the base).
